ABOUT JEEN
Studio Antognazzi has been run by sculptor Jeen Bosma since May 1, 2026. From his passion for art, craftsmanship and Italy, and after many years of working in this studio, Jeen has entered into a collaboration with the owner, Ugo Antognazzi. Ugo is the third generation of the Antognazzi family (in the image, the second generation, Umberto Antognazzi).
TRADITION
Jeen’s intention is to continue the tradition of the Antognazzi family, supported by the current owner. Together, they are now working on the renovation of the studio and making it possible to work with marble in Pietrasanta.
ABOUT ELISA
Elisa has been working in Italy for several years and, before that, for many years as a sculptor and teacher in the south of the Netherlands. She completed a classical sculpture training in Antwerp and holds the title of Master in Sculpture. In Belgium and Italy, she further trained as a sculptor and stone carver.
Her workshops are characterized by teaching the Michelangelo technique. She explains this technique clearly on her website (a video will follow) and has already inspired many sculptors.
For Elisa, Pietrasanta is a true paradise for sculptors. The atmosphere, the tradition and meeting other sculptors have led her to live partly in the Pietrasanta area.
OUR VISION
Both Jeen and Elisa believe in the power of calm, attention and craftsmanship. The studio is a place where artists can focus on their work, away from the distractions of daily life. An environment where there is space for development, depth and creativity.
FOR WHOM
The studio is aimed at sculptors who want to work in Tuscany for a certain period, as well as participants who want to get acquainted with working with marble through workshops. It is also possible for more experienced sculptors to complete an entire project in the studio.
